Some jewellery becomes unforgettable.
As a jewellery designer, I have spent years creating pieces that celebrate beauty, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. But every once in a while, a design comes along that asks for something more. It asks for emotion. It asks for memory. It asks for love.
That is how Memoira – HeartGlow Memory Pendant was born.
Unlike any collection I have designed before, this pendant wasn't inspired by fashion trends, gemstones, or seasonal colours. It was inspired by the most valuable thing we own—our memories.
The Idea Began with a Simple Thought
One evening, while looking through old family photographs, I found myself smiling at moments I had almost forgotten.
A childhood birthday.
A photograph with my parents.
A family holiday.
A tiny hand holding mine.
Those photographs reminded me of something important.
Life doesn't become meaningful because of the things we own.
It becomes meaningful because of the people we love.
That evening, I asked myself one simple question:
What if jewellery could carry those memories with us?
Not just symbolically.
But literally.
That single thought became the beginning of Memoira.

Why a Heart?
During the early stages of designing this collection, I explored many different shapes.
Circles.
Ovals.
Vintage-inspired lockets.
Modern geometric forms.
Yet I kept returning to one timeless symbol—the heart.
Not because it is fashionable.
But because every meaningful memory begins with love.
Whether it is the love shared between parents and children, partners, grandparents, siblings, lifelong friends, or even beloved pets, the heart speaks a language that everyone understands.
The HeartGlow Memory Pendant became a celebration of that universal connection.
Designing Emotion
Designing jewellery is usually about balance, proportions, craftsmanship, and aesthetics.
Designing the HeartGlow Memory Pendant was completely different.
Every decision was guided by emotion.
The pendant had to look elegant while closed.
It had to open smoothly and effortlessly.
It had to safely protect the precious photograph inside.
It had to feel lightweight and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
Most importantly...
Opening it needed to feel like opening a memory.
Because the experience mattered just as much as the design itself.
The Story Hidden Inside
Every customer will create a completely different HeartGlow Pendant.
Some will place their wedding photograph inside.
Others will choose a picture of their newborn baby.
Some will carry a memory of parents who are no longer with them.
Others will celebrate siblings, grandparents, children, best friends, or beloved pets.
There is no correct photograph.
Because every heart tells a different story.

Throughout my career, I have designed jewellery for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and countless celebrations.
But I wanted to create something even more personal.

Only to discover a cherished photograph hidden inside.
That moment cannot be replaced.

Within that collection, HeartGlow became the signature pendant.
Because memories never truly fade.

My Hope for Every Person Who Wears It
As a designer, I hope people admire the craftsmanship.

But more than anything...
I hope they smile every time they open it.
Because jewellery should make us feel something.

A Personal Reflection
When I founded TAVIXA, I dreamed of creating jewellery that people would wear for years.

This collection celebrates those memories.
